We raise registered Angus and Hereford bulls on open pasture backed by trees and sturdy fence. Three generations of careful breeding, honest pricing, and bulls built for working farms.
Sweetlandingpro started when my grandfather decided to stop buying bulls from distant breeders and raise his own. He wanted animals suited to this climate, this soil, this terrain — bulls that would thrive behind a good fence on real pasture. Fifty years later, we still follow that principle. Every bull leaves our barn healthier, stockier and calmer than when it arrived.
Today we work with small operations and large ranches across three states, and we still know every customer by name. Our bulls carry genetics we've tracked for decades, raised in conditions we believe in — open ground, clean straw, fresh water, and the space to move.
We keep our herd smaller than we could, which means every bull gets individual attention. Better animals, longer lives, steadier temperament. That discipline shows in every sale.
Full pedigree records, health certifications, honest condition reports. If a bull has a weakness, you hear it. No auctions, no surprises — just straight talk about bloodlines and soundness.
We rotate grazing through our pastures to keep trees healthy and soil strong. The barn and fence are tools for better land management. This place will outlive us — we farm like it.
We keep the herd manageable and the team lean — the people who select and raise our bulls are the same ones handling every aspect of care. No middlemen, no shortcuts. Just skilled stockmen devoted to quality from pasture to barn.
We take pride in bloodlines, celebrate healthy stock and treat every animal like it represents our reputation — because it does.
Seasoned breeders who genuinely love working with bulls — and bring that dedication to every aspect of the operation.
